Easy Access

Many different access roads, less traffic jams in high season.
Excellent snow record
Most Northerly Ski Area in the alps:- Benefiting from westerly weather fronts, which gain humidity over Lake Leman.
1 or 2 degrees colder than even further south Chamonix. Skiing in Avoriaz from 1800 to 2400.
Mountain Bike Mecca
Many kilometers of prepared tracks and trails with main lifts open as early as June. Many competitions organised of a world class level.
Many Summer Activities

All year round resort
Activities organized even out of season for locals. Many Shops staying open all year round. Many other ski resorts shut down to 'ghost towns' out of season but not Morzine
Value for Money
Although prices in the Portes de Soleil have increased over the last few years, they are still relatively low compared with many other resorts, particularly when on the doorstep of 650km of skiing.
Easy to attract business
Morzine already has a well established name and a very active tourist office to attract holiday makers.
